Translation -
Following the agreement of the second Jēvōttama (Anu Jeevottama Sripada), along with the consent of all our people in Bhatkal and the Kochi town establishment, and with the immense grace and absolute partiality/favor shown by Vijayaindra Yatīndra towards them by granting audience, the administration from his hand is conducted. A single copper plate has been written by Yadu Tīrtha with the consent of all, stating our boundaries and respective proprieties. It is also written on that plate that out of what was earned/acquired by us from Vijayēndra, one-third portion should be given to them, and similarly, a aone-third portion of the silver etc. should be given. Whatever was acquired by us, all of it should be made into an offering first, and the protection of our matha should be carried out. Thus it happened. All the reasons for this have been written down and are at Gokarna.
Which means that the Cochin Venkatesh Temple was already present in 1590 AD.
