The Ordeal is finally over.

I am very relieved to be writing this blog; more for I am delighted to be with my computer again after a long time.

My computer suffered a temporary RIP session when its power supply unit (PSU) fused about a week ago. Something inside guided me to simply open the CPU and finally try to get my hands dirty, for this had always been a quite delayed exercise. Not that my computer had died such deaths earlier (this was the first time), but being an engineer I consider such elementary know-how as a prerequisite.

When I realised that I needed a new PSU after a solid display of fireworks at ma place, i marched on to finding the right one for my PC. Even after 2-3 salvos, my computer lay lifeless; it simply never booted. So tried doing what i should have had done quite earlier -- took it to the dude who had assembled the computer for me, a good 3 years ago. Here too, disappointment stared me shamelessly on face.

The long day.

The NSS council for this academic year is finally a reality. Am happy that they are more aware than me and my team were at the beginning of the year, thanks to Sir and myself. Radio Mirchi had come to college to select a Rj from among us techies; donno what prompted them to try their luck with people who are used to logical thinking, and arent spontaneous (atleast not on the stage and not for all situations).

The rains are a blessing and a curse; make ur day hell when u are out of ur home, but are a welcome change to the conjesting heat Mumbaikars are feeling these days.

Replaced the PC-HUB ethernet cable with a PC-PC one, for Shan intends to connect his PC and Laptop. Lookin forward to that mini project of his.

Late in the night; mom shouting at me for becoming a late night net enthisiast; so signing off.

Take care.

Happy Friendship Day.

I am really not aware when this day is celebrated. People were all around marine drive yesterday and all were wishing each other the same, so guess yesterday was the day.

The confusion arises from the fact that in CRCE, we are having friendship day tomorrow. But its justified anyway -- any day is good enough to celebrate friendship. You can celebrate it throughout the year, any time, thank your friends for being there and what they are for you. Celebration doesn't just mean splurging money; it's just about having a nice time.

Here's my video for all of you to enjoy; my rendition of "Yaaron" by KK.

As usual....idhar bhi late!!

Its quite right that writing is among the most relaxing exercises one can do. Blogging was always on my mind. But just as life has been for me, happening than being made to happen, finally i am here to supposedly share with you a part of my life.

Although, it can be said that technology has made life easier, eg. the email, the fact remains that all the inner secrets cannot be shared openly. So a web log can never take the place of a diary. A blog is an ideal tool for people like me who don't believe in maintaining a written record, so our secrets go either out of our memory, or to the grave ( maybe to the crematorium if you are a Hindu...so am I).

Hopefully i will get hooked to this activity; at least my typing skills will see much needed improvement. Hopefully, i will be able to contribute some worthwhile reading material for all you who love to read blogs. As of now, its the beginning of ma journey, so am sorry theres nothin much to offer.

Take Care.
